Any middle market firms hiring for FDD still? (Philly/NYC)

I have accepted a mid size company 6 months contract staff accountant role. However, I will have interviews with couple of large companies by the same week of my start date. My question is, if I’m lucky enough to get the offer, is it bad to leave the contract after a couple of months? I don’t see any legal restrictions.

I was promoted in June and absolutely loathe this new role. How soon is too soon to apply for an internal role? I have my eye on a team where I have a great relationship with the director.

Advice needed!! Have 8+ years of compliance/legal/in house experience (not privacy law except HIPAA). I really want a Privacy Counsel role so I took and passed the CIPP/US and CIPM exams this past year. I’ve been offered an Associate Director job at PwC. Is this a good stepping stone to a Privacy Counsel role? How long should I expect to work at PwC before I could apply to Privacy Counsel roles??

Hey all, I'm approaching my 1yr anniversary in my current role, and I'm curious of what I should expect in terms of a raise.

I started at $57k base last year, with OTE of $70k

I received a small raise at the start of this year, along with a new comp plan so current numbers are $59k base and ~$80k OTE.

This role is in a life sciences vertical. SDRs in this vertical w/ a year of experience average 60-70k base.

I'd like to land at $65k, thoughts?

I am an entry level nuclear engineer at an established nucl co. (been w them for 1.5y) and feel like I’m being underpaid for my role (73k/y). I was just contacted about interviewing for an entry level technician role at a different co., which compared to an engineer would be a step down imo. However, this role pays over 5k what I’m currently making (~79k/y). Do I ask for a raise to match this or consider the other role? Or Is there a different solution here?

I got a verbal offer from KPMG US during the first week of November 2022. It has been more than one month since the verbal confirmation and I have yet not received the offer letter. I checked with my recruiter and she told me that there is some pending approvals from the leadership team that is taking up time. I just wanted to understand what kind of approvals are required in KPMG and does it generally take this long? Also will I be getting the offer since I am in touch with my recruiter.

I asked for clarification and she said I need to schedule a date (not more than 30days after receiving the assessment link) I can complete the assessment by.
