Any model risk auditor here? Someone auditing model lifecycle (Not accounting auditing). I have an upcoming interview and still trying to figure what is the scope of the work

I’m currently a high school teacher, but I have a final interview next week for an ID job that I feel very good about.

I plan on accepting the job offer if I’m lucky enough to be selected. However, I want to be able to give my school as much notice as possible so they have some time to find a replacement before the year starts.

Is there a way I can bring this up in the interview without making it seem like I’m trying to pressure them into a decision?

During my interview in 2017, he said his target retirement would be 2019-2021. Now, after a good 2020 (for our practice area), he mused that he might not retire until 2025. I work for a company with a pretty generous PTO policy and a mostly remote flex policy (4 days a month in office if within 75 miles of the building). One thing I’m wondering if there is a way to help us I get the “I’m taking a mental health day” call out regularly which causes a strain on the rest of the team because we were unable to prepare like we would with pre-planned PTO. Any ideas of things I can do as a manager to encourage pre-planned PTO instead of these call outs?
