I work for a company with a pretty generous PTO policy and a mostly remote flex policy (4 days a month in office if within 75 miles of the building). One thing I’m wondering if there is a way to help us I get the “I’m taking a mental health day” call out regularly which causes a strain on the rest of the team because we were unable to prepare like we would with pre-planned PTO. Any ideas of things I can do as a manager to encourage pre-planned PTO instead of these call outs?

Hi moms! Between you and your spouse how many books do you read to your child per week? It’s been a struggle to get my spouse to help with this and I am so drained at the end of the day with work and housework I can only get through 1 book a day if any… averaging maybe 4 books a week?
