So I just recently passed my CPA exams and I’m now looking for new opportunities. I’m hoping to work at a big 4 firm in tax and possibly connect with anyone working there right now. Please reach out to me, I would look forward to connecting and learning more about potential opportunities. Thanks!EY PwC Deloitte KPMG

Some places to eat:
1. Din Tai Fung (This is my fav place and is a MIchilen Starred Taiwanese Restaurant) I normally get the Pork Xiao Long Bao, Pork Chop Fried Rice, and the Cabbage.
2. 85 C: This is a bakery where they make stuff fresh all day. There are a few locations
3. TAT'S Delicatessen: Best sandwich shop in Seattle and the Chicken Parm is amazing. Get the smaller sub as they are very filling
4. Red Bowls: They get fresh fish every day and their food is amazing. Lines look long sometimes, but move very fast. I normally get the Central Spicy with Avocado and Brown rice or no rice
5. Lola: Made to Order Donuts are some of the best I have ever had. They are small like donut holes. I normally call ahead for pick up to avoid the 20% service charge.
6. Boiling Point: This is a famous hot pot place. I recommend the beef pot and when they ask if you want spicy, it is burn your mouth off spicy. Make sure to do the savory dipping sauce mix
7. Bambu Desserts & Drinks: Great place for dessert and I like the strawberry shaved ice
8. Tai Tung: This is an old school Chinese Restaurant and was Bruce Lee’s favorite place to eat in Seattle. It is Hong Kong style food and the menu is huge.
9. Purple Cafe and Wine Bar: This place has the best sea salt chocolates and makes them in house. The food there is not my style, but my team always loved to eat there.
10. Seattle Fish Guys: Best poke in Seattle hands down
11. Bok a Bok: Korean fried chicken and the best in town
12. Katsu Burger: Japanese style meat in a burger.
13. Great State Burger: Use the app to order ahead of time. Wonderful burgers.
14. Dick’s Drive In: Seattle Icon and is the like In-N-Out for Seattle
15. Il Corvo: Supposed to be the best pasta in the city. Food is very good but portions are small, lines are long, and service is not great (and they don’t take AMEX)
16. Pam’s Kitchen: Goat Curry is #Amazing. Make sure to get Roti with your food. This place was featured on Diners, Drive In’s and Dives. Protip: even though you can seat yourself, you still have to order the food with Pam at the front. No waiters will take your order.
Let’s just say I travel a lot and have lists for different cities. One more thing for Seattle is Pike Place Chowder. Avoid getting it at Pike Place and go to the one a few blocks away at Pacific Place Center. It’s on the 4th floor and there is rarely a line and is mostly the local crowd vs the tourists. It is also next to the down town location of Din Tai Fung.
I love taking people on the underground tour when they are in town( both daytime and adult version are fun). gasworks park with a joint from hashtag dispensary, breweries in Fremont/Ballard if you're into that. cap Hill for some good food (tavolata has a great weekday happy hour) and going out (Linda's and the unicorn are fun dive bars) but tons of other food and bars on cap hill. finding nice hikes in the area or going to Ranier on a nice day is always fun too. pikes place is super touristy so I personally wouldn't spend a ton of time there (although the pink door has good food with a burlesque show that's fun but make reservations ahead). the pop museum is also cool
Thank you! It’s always fun to hear from a local
the Pike pier
It’s touristy, but Pike Place Chowder was delicious.
Kerry Park for the views on a clear day.
Yes but locals go to both.
Top pot doughnuts 🍩
General Porpoise donuts if you're a sweets person. Haven't had any that tops that except for Blue Star in Portland.
Nue in Cap hill for food. Rachel’s Ginger Beer. Ballard Locks tour is awesome. Bainbridge island. Lots of hiking - mount si, north cascades, etc. depends on how far you’re willing to drive. Boeing factory tour. Ballard farmer’s market on a Sunday.
Marination Ma Kai is a must. Good inexpensive food in West Seattle with the best view of the city. afterwards, drive down to Alki beach to continue taking in the scenery. Check out cool Amazon buildings downtown and try out the Amazon Go store if you haven't already.
Good good + beach sounds like my kind of day. Thank you!
The food tour is excellent. Tamarind Tree if you are looking for a hidden gem.
Walrus and the carpenter
The Amazon HQ is cool if you can still get tickets for when you go.
