Make $120k Accenture now doing tech implementations, just got offer 200k TC EY business consulting. I love my job, have a great WLB (working 20 hours per week, no travel, clear path to M in about 1.5 years) - am I an idiot for even contemplating staying? What I would be doing is more PPT/functional vs Onestream/technical which I do now.

It is a big outdoor activity town. Everyone skis or boards or hikes and most people do all of those things and a lot more. It’s kind of liberal but also a lot of conservatives (not that either are a bad thing) from smaller towns in Colorado. The weather is not great but not as bad as the majority of the Midwest. Lived in Kansas for 25 years so a lot of vacations were spent in Denver/Colorado.

Lol dude it’s 8,000ft in the air everyone always forget to mention that
5,000. And no, people do not forget to mention that the mile high city is at an elevation of roughly a mile

If you aren’t outdoors person it ain’t for you
My brother relocated to Denver from San Francisco and is much, much happier. Not a big outdoors person. Benefits for him were lower cost of living, generally nicer people, quieter way of life, and shorter commute. All that contributed to happier kids, happier wife, and happier family.
I would love to relocate there. Planning to look next year, waiting for my bonus.
