I’m currently a hr specialist and have 3-4 years experience in hr with 10 years fully admin. I’m now level 7 cipd qualified with a masters in HR and struggling to get into a hr manager role as I’m way overqualified for the role I’m in now. How hard is to break into manager role?

Shoutout to the poor analysts that are going through on cycle PE right now. Getting asked to go into KKRs office for 10 hours of interviews at 10pm on a Monday can’t be fun but I guarantee you there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Stay strong ❤️

I’m applying for a Fundraising manager position and have gone through 4 previous rounds of interviews. It looks promising. I have a “final” interview with the CEO on Friday. I’ve already answered all questions about my past experiences in previous interviews. What should I be prepared for in this interview ?

I asked for revised compensation from infosys based on parallel offer letter and got below response:
Compensation is determined for various roles, based on the competency and the experience a candidate comes in with. We also look at ensuring parity amongst any other internal employee with similar competency.  Considering these facts, we will not be in position to change compensation.
Please advise how to negotiate further.

Went through 5 interviews with a company only to find out they decided to go internal…but yeah 5 times I had to prepare and all pumped that I was getting closer. Then I had 3 interviews with another organization after the 3rd one I was told they would get back to me the following week. It’s now more than 2 weeks… This is so discouraging but is it the norm nowadays?

I’ve had 2 interviews at Amazon for a senior product manager tech role- one with someone from the team and then someone from the engineering team. Should I advance, how many other interviews can I expect?

I just received a promo from jr to mid level strategist after 2 yrs, 3 months. Previous to that, I was in account for 2 years. When I made the jump to strategy, salary stayed the same. Now, with this promo, I'm making about the same as I did as a jr strategist with OT (now as mid lvl I wouldn't get OT). Internal moves are the worst here (they did the same thing to me when I went from AAE to AE). Anyone have advice besides leaving (I'm already looking)? Jr (60k + OT, mid 70k no OT)

I work as a floor hand on a oil and gas drilling vessel (rig) I get 47.7 USD(INR 3700 approx.) /day and that's only when I m working onboard the rig,no pay for the time off at home. No extra pay for extra days/hours worked. Please help me find something that can help me and my family. Thanks.

Have a 60% increase in salary in hand L&E management side, would stay at current firm if they bump me up at least 40%. Do I ask employer (without disclosing other offer) that I’ll need them to match (or lowest 40% when negotiating) and if they don’t match then peace, or disclose offer right away and ask. Trying to avoid the awkward situation of leveraging them w the offer, them matching, and now employer knows I could pull the same stunt again in the future? Thoughts on how to handle this sitch?

Currently I am one year out of school starting at around $26/HR with my on call pay being $2.75 an hour (we doing it weekly at my hospital) and we average around 100 hour of on call so it’s close to $300 per on call week.
