Yep, PS5, Xbox, and Switch. The Switch is a godsend if you commute by public transit. I've already come to terms with being the only adult woman who games on any form of public transportation. 😂

I play ps5 pretty regularly. No kids and I don't mind staying up late.

like

Why do you assume I have a ps5? Still on the ps4 😢

likefunny

Definitely try to, but with our jobs and multiple kids, I end up playing for only a few hours per month.

like

I try. But kids and work doesn’t leave a lot of time for it. Finally got BoTW and beat it this year after a trial.

uplifting

Absolutely, I hop on for a few hours every week with friends. It’s more for the social aspect tbh but if you can find 2-3 days to play with friends it’s awesome

like

Yes. I play COD Warzone on PC sometimes with friends after work and on the weekends.

like

I have a couple of weeks off in before I start my in house gig and I've been spending an embarrassing amount of time playing WoW lol 😅

like

I’m stuck at PS3 🤣

I frequently play games on my Switch during conference calls. Mostly Smash Bros.

Nightly 🙌

I like phone games like Pokémon Go to take the edge off of boring calls

Playing the new Monkey Island game in the evenings this week.

Heck yeah. Still have time to play Apex with friends and have been messing around in Cyberpunk

I play 4-5 times a week after work before bed with other attorneys

Whos tryna run park in 2k23 w/ me? 👀

Starting to feel a little defeated. How do you deal with an executive that works on their calendar too? And doesn’t really give you full control? I was moving things around making a meeting work and then my executive moved everything around and screwed up everything I worked on.

Can’t shake the feeling that some of my colleagues became executives through their connections rather than qualifications. Some of you really only bill 17/1800 hours? Are you just busy doing non-billable work or you just don’t have enough work coming to you? If it’s because you don’t have enough work does that mean you have your evenings and weekends to yourself too? Could you maybe help the rest of us out who never get either?

Any leads for good contract doc review attorneys/companies? Working on a complex internal investigation that requires analysis far beyond simple responsiveness coding and getting quotes that outsource to India for a fraction of the cost of reviewing in house is actually not what I’m looking for. Saving money is a consideration but primary driver is dedicated/consistent time commitment. Team is stretched too thin to make it through the volume.

Is it okay that I’ve been a slow junior as we’re hours away from closing? I’m trying to be proactive and available to cross things off the list but I’m SLOW: takes me long enough that they do it themselves (even though this wasn’t an issue earlier in the deal) and even on quick tasks or emails, they respond to it before I can click send. There’s also so much about closing that I don’t understand and I feel like I’m bothering the higher-ups on the team whenever I ask. *end anxiety post*
