Is anyone going to AfroTech this year?
Hey guys - does anyone have recommendations for Indian wavy 5x5 or 6x6 closures? I was going to order off of Amora Renae (https://www.amorarenaecollection.co/product/thin-swiss-lace-5x5-closure/) but they aren’t restocking. I’m still getting bundles from them, but clueless on another solid company that would have matching hair (friend is making me a wig bc of a natural hair crisis I’m having, I’m absolutely clueless when it comes to anything like this)!

I have it. I love it. Pros - good way to keep active, the community is great. Cons- it’s an expensive bike and you still have to pay monthly to have access to all the metrics. If you don’t want to pay the price for the bike, you can buy a cheaper non Peleton bike and use the app. There is a 90 day free trial now for the app. You won’t get the same metrics or be counted in the leaderboard but you absolutely still get a great experience and good workout.
I just purchased a sunny health indoor spinning bike. A quarter of the price of Peloton. I did a few weeks of research for a Peloton alternative and eventually settled on this one due to price point, but I really wanted the Asuna 7150 ($1400). I really love the Peloton but hard to find a refurb one where I live and I’m not buying brand new. Used ones sell within a few hours.
I brought the Wahoo speed and cadence to be able to connect it to Peloton app.
If post is still up in a month, I’ll give my review.
I love spinning so I am really excited to be able to do it at home.
I have a large butt so I also brought a bigger bike seat. The one gripe I had from spin class was that those seats were not made for my rear.
Posting the products I ended up purchasing, to aid if someone is looking for a Peloton alternative.

I know a few ppl that split the membership, which washes out if you pay for monthly cycle classes, but yeah, I totally get you.
I personally do not have a bike but my best friend does. She got a refurbished one via our pwc discount program. She mentioned she was an a former avid soulcycler and has significantly saved money. I use the peloton app for home workouts and i Love it!
I can't speak to Peloton specifically, but I have a I have a NordicTrack s22i so can comment on spin bikes with workouts and that life.
