So I've been applying for jobs with various brands who are owned by the same parent company. They are all separate brands but owned by the same company. All my applications are under one login with the parent company's website. My question is, can HR and recruiters from the different brands see all my open applications (including those with the other brands) or just the ones that concern the brand they work for?

I’ve noticed companies are starting to ask if you wish to identify if you’re LGBTQ+ when applying for jobs. When I’ve gone along with this I notice recruiters focus more on diversity and employee groups, and it’s making me feel like I’m being interviewed as a potential diversity hire, especially when I’ve received interviews from companies that are prone to boy’s club culture. What advise do you have moving forward with a career. I left my employer after18 yrs in June. my boss was laid off before covid, they didnt post his job for 2 years. I ran the site for that time, received many accolades. When it posted i got no interview. In June a company made an offer for same money for board director I took it. Turns out they were pitching lies. They had no integrity and were incompetent. I left this month. I haven’t been out of a job 25 years. How do I pick myself back up?

FTX is a prime example of what’s going on in tech the last couple years. So many people who have NO CLUE what they’re doing, hired by a friend, got handed a hefty 6 figure salary…then watched Netflix and tracked for 2-3 years since Covid started. We all know people who don’t do much and have some fancy made up title, we’re just seeing the repercussions of it all now. Mass layoffs is no surprise…and it’s all admin positions nothing really important.
