Any one had experience with Wells Fargo premier banker role or Financial Solutions advisor with BOA. Seems to be very similar. Wells base is higher but seems more upside for comp with BOA? Any feedback on either would be greatly appreciated.

Premier is more limited as you focus is still on banking products and gaining referral for FA partner, yet you still need to be licensed (S7/66). You can discuss general investment strategies but nothing specific and cannot perform suitability analysis.

FSA role is a more hands on role. There’s no partner as you are the FA. You do have access to all banking products BOFA offers, so you can be an all stop shop in that sense.

I believe you are correct, the upside is higher with BOFA as you get paid based on discovery and production. Premier role is “easier” in the sense that you’re only discovering where the assets are, then passing it along to the FA to try to bring them over

Left MBB 2 years post Mba to pursue equivalent pay and amazing wlb in a “big old tech” strategy team (think IBM, Dell, HP). I thought boring work would be fine in the context but after 1 year it’s getting to me. How would you think about exit timing to avoid “leaving too fast” but also avoiding becoming branded as an old tech guy? Does the old tech experience look bad for FAANG-like prospects?

I am being offered a 1 yr contractual role at Meta, India. The pay-roll will be managed by a consultancy but I'll be working completely with the Meta folks from their office reporting to their managers and all and they are offering a decent hike.
P.S: I don't mind the offer because anyways I'll be moving to US for my Masters by next year.
What should I do here? Please help. I am not very confident about the contract part.

My previous role was TL role but in TCS I have been offered initially AST role for which I was very happy but later while document verification HR identified a gap in the experience and have changed the role to IT analyst but the salary hike was not reduced . How long would it take for me to get promoted to AST role. I re-checked with HR if my role is still going to be a TL role after getting hired she mentioned 'yes' but there will be project specific roles.

I have a governmental entity client in Texas that wants to offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave for all employees, even those who aren’t eligible for FMLA. After the paid 6 weeks, the employee can choose to continue paid leave using any accrued personal leave.

Texas does not have a paid parental leave statute.

If paid leave above what is required is offered for parents, do we also have to provide the same benefit to other employees that are eligible for unpaid leave?
