YOE: 6.7 year

From my understanding from the interviews, my roles will be more or less same in both companies.

Currently 6 years at job A at 100K and 10K annual bonus but lil to no upward mobility. It's safe if not going anywhere.

Recruiter reached out regarding Job B at 130K with greater advancement potential but it starts out at 6 Months Contract to Hire per the agency contract. No bonus, benefits adequate by comparison. There is no guarantee to go full time.

(I’m a former employee from the consulting side) I had a first round interview, that from my perspective, I aced… I answered everything thoroughly, I was engaged with the interviewer…she stated my skills lined up perfectly with the role and that she wanted me to talk to her manager….15 min after the interview I get a no go email…ugh

How should I navigate questions about my career change and quitting my job?

I am preparing to apply for jobs. I quit my job in 12/2020 due to instability (they cut my pay and hours to part-time and a layoff was impending) and worked as a trainer. Then I went back to the company in a different role a year later. Quit 3 months later after being treated unfairly, and poor outlook of the company.

I’m job hunting and having fairly decent success so far. Made it to the final round for two jobs but lost both. Thinking it can’t hurt to spruce up my resume and cover letter and optimize my LinkedIn profile. Can anyone recommend someone who does this? After 2 years of a pandemic and working independently for many years, I am not feeling interviews AT ALL. There are points in the interview where I want to just say "Look! Either hire me or don't".
