Does salary differ per employee even if the same position was offered? I asked coz when I checked on linkedin, I searched for people with the same post I was offered too (Sr Consultant at CG). But when I look at their YOE , it is quite lesser compared to me (I have 8yoe). Some has 4yoe only but were working as Sr. Consultant also at CG. Why is that so? 😅🥴 Capgemini

Solid one PwC, seems like you’ll be the one keeping that joke alive lol
We've got a big financial services client. The other clients that come to mind are healthcare, governmental, higher education, tech, manufacturing, and a REIT. Everyone's pretty friendly and welcoming. I'm sure HR will give you the run down with benefits, but I think big 4 are all pretty standard - five weeks of vacation plus 10 days of firm holidays. Anything specific you want to know?
KPMG is lowest of the 4 you’ll be fine!
Actually it’s weird they advertised for an experienced hire because no one’s left the firm in our office for over a year. Had a couple change offices or do rotations but nothing major.
I guess I’m just more curious on the transition between a mid tier firm and a Big 4. I’ve worked exclusively private jobs so the transition to larger clients is definitely intriguing. Any significant travel required or other crazy things that you didn’t expect when you first got there? I’m highly rated and quite open to anything but I guess it’s really the mid tier vs. Big 4 that’s the biggest hurdle for me truly (if you had any possible thoughts).
We have someone that worked at a smaller firm and switched and I think he's considered a "high performer" compared to his peers. I think the first year would probably be difficult but after the transition, it gets easier. Depending on which client you're on, there might be some travel, but mostly we're all in Tampa, St. Pete, Clearwater, Sarasota, and Lakeland. Might be a longer commute, but there's not too many people staying out of town constantly.
It’s great overall, lemme get that referral bonus lol
