Hi all, I am working in capgemini as a fresher and all my joining on boarding got virtually only. Never seen the office at once. Almost 1.7 year got over. Now they are calling me to Bangalore, I have no one and I want initial accommodation for at least 2 weeks other wise it will be very tough for me. They said it is not written in my offer for accomodation so I will not get. But this is unethical if it's not written on offer letter then I won't get. help me to get this accomodation pls Capgemini

You need a budget. Google “YNAB,” it will force you to make better choices on how you spend your income, and help you take care of that debt.
Are your student loans your only debt?
I thought I was racing to 115k, but now I’m thinking 160 will be a turning point. How do you deal with academic debt?
105 made a big difference for me but I also turned off my 401k for a few months. Turned it back on and was able to do more at 120
I’m in the same boat. Not really sure what to do. It certainly didn’t get easier at $130k because the income-based repayment went up astronomically. I’m hoping for a long lost rich relative to come into the picture and then kick it at this point. Not really anything else to do.
No, but my first salary equaled my student loan debt (~$45K). Agree with others that you need a budget. If you aren’t already, you should be trimming your largest recurring costs (rent, car, auto insurance, gym, etc.), so that you can throw as much extra at your debt as possible. That means not living as large as your six-figure friends who don’t have debt. Probably means fewer or scaled back vacations. I paid $700+/mo on loans when my salary was $42K a year. You can do it.
Buy the book “playing with FIRE” - serious perspective about money and what you spend it on and how nailing down your priorities can help you build wealth at ANY income level. We do not have to work our entire lives just because we have student debt!
