Any other lactation consultants (LCs) in here? Curious to know what is your compensation for a hospital LC and location. Salary and/or per diem. I know it’s dependent on location but would like to get an idea.

I would ask for no less than 85k.

SOs salary negotiation: he was told the bonus is actually higher (still just a 2% jump or wobble from current job) and then he just froze and said "ok" not asking for a signing bonus etc. Really bummed now, and he is bummed that I'm bummed. And the company is probably happy with their underoffer. Does HR keep track of these information bits and does take this into account for next salary raise talks? As if you train for a marathon and ultimately just use one leg to wobble the whole race.

Raise chat! I am approaching 1 year with my company and am unsure of how to approach my CEO when asking for a raise. When I first came on, I was given a 5% raise after 3 months. I was promoted at 5 months but just in title, and a lot of responsibility. I believe I am long overdue for a salary increase and the overall cost of living is insane. I would like to ask for something closer to 15% but I’m not sure if that’s appropriate. Any advise?

All the Big 4 Partner questions answered in one place:
1) 1st year - 350k to 700k.
2) 5th year - 750k to 1.4M
3) Stop asking about and worrying about the buy in. It is an opportunity and not a significant out of pocket cost. The only thing you should think about with the buy in is that it is an at risk asset, but if you have concerns about short term firm failure, you’re already at the wrong firm.
4) Take the Pship if ever offered. Non equity positions below Partner are always at risk

Asking this for a friend who isn't on fishbowl yet:

For a private company (established startup), what should the compensation comprise of for a Global Supply Chain Director role? Have been told the company does equity and could offer one. What should the comp comprise of? Any suggestions on the base and additional components to negotiate? 10+ years of applicable exp. and have cleared all interviews. Area: Midwest

Are you pro sharing your salary with others or keeping it quiet? If you were on a group call with 3 other women employees sharing their salaries, same YOE and same role, would you feel pressured to share yours? I did not feel comfortable as I make significantly more but want them to know.

So I work for a division called “In house services” where I am essentially an extension to my clients HR. My client recent had me source for a Program Coordinator in Talent Acquisition. They just offered her 7k more than what I make. She acts as a support to TA while I do full cycle direct hire & manage a 50+ contractor workforce managing about 30 open reqs at one time. To my employees, I am their HR and Payroll. I know the client TA people make even more. Is it worth bringing up to my boss?

I've been following the Supreme Court mess all weekend, and it makes me not want to live in the US anymore.
