I work at an AM Law 200 firm with in house and external recruiters. I want to put my resume out there to see what is available, but am concerned that publishing my resume will draw attention of our recruiters, and applying to local firms will get back to the other attornets I work with. What is fastest way to improve both structured communication and thinking? Any helpful books or drills?
It’s the one consistent feedback I get while casing , “to be more structured” I’m there for math ability , business logic , creativity.

MBB em level role vs. director level tech (non FAANG) exit? Coming from b4, roughly 10 yoe. I know it’s probably a personal preference thing but hoping to get opinions here. Tech role is $190k base plus a 30% target bonus. MBB role i got a verbal offer without a comp figure yet but my understanding is it’s around there, maybe 10-20% higher (or maybe much higher depending on bonus).

Didn’t fully expect to get the MBB offer honestly, but both beat my 180/198 b4 comp. Now i’m torn.

If applying to Bain, how much does a referral help for an experienced hire? Does the referral have to be from the office you're applying to?

Is it typical for a 1st round to only be one 30 minute interview? Doesn't seem like a lot of time to conduct a PEI, case and Q&A.

Why do so many of you seem to think you need a referral to get an interview at MBB? I’ve interviewed ~200 candidates and fewer than 10% had a referral.

Is MBB Europe is cutting people at year end review due to pandemic, as some other T2 firms?
