Any people jump from big4 salesforce consulting to salesforce itself? How was it? Worth it?

Hi all, I am a data scientist and I hold an offer for Ml engineer. I wanted some insights if both these roles could be the same or shall I look out for jobs in data science only.

Industry vs. academic research, what have your experiences in either been like and which do you prefer?

For data science exits does it go something like this? Any industry players I'm missing? Have been in process with all and currently in process with all but one and trying to prioritize.

I’m currently in a junior accounting role working with invoicing and billing management. I don’t have a degree in finance or accounting but the more I learn about finance the more interested and excited I become. Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?

Currently working at an IRA with great WLB. Honestly I love my job, the firm, and people I work with.

Also doing MBA part time at a T15 school. Thinking about switching to IB but I’ve done my research and I think I would burn out of IB in two years but I might be ok with that for the opportunities after.

I’m a recent graduate with a Master’s degree in Analytics, with a concentration in finance. Late bloomers, where/how did you meet more queer friends?

need vent - I'm having real anxiety, my mom/boss owns the family law firm that she built from the ground up, older sister helped (literally runs the office, payroll, and paralegal). My sister has been out for health reasons (at one point we thought cancer).
Our last paralegal was acting petty because she hasn't gotten raise, and mom hasn't given her raise because she acts petty and doesn't do what she's told all the time. Today she quit. I'm afraid my mom has unrealistic expectations

At this moment, I am almost depressed. I am in a relationship with this guy for 2 years now. In the past 2 years, we have fought more than we have lived days with peace. We both have high ego problems because of which it’s really hard to resolve a conflict. Things have recently escalated to calling names/swearing and even physically abuse from both sides.
