Hi, I’m new here and pretty much in the industry too , I have experience in food service and bartending (a year) in different companies but I do have a bachelors degree in hospitality and administration with a minor in events management and I would like to know how I can get a job that would help get up the ladder and make a good salary? Like which kind of job I could apply for and get hired that would help me to climb up the fastest?

Booking a trip to Argentina in November for two weeks! What's a good amount of time to spend in Buenos Aires, Patagonia (open to suggestions on where in Patagonia) and Mendoza? Trying to limit the time in airports and maximize the time in each area. Also, are we idiots to not making the trek to Iguazu Falls? If so, which part of the trip would you limit to make it there?

I’m in my second long-term relationship (first was from age 16-20, he broke up with me). My current boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years and I feel like it’s time to end things. However, I’ve never ended a long-term relationship and it feels legitimately impossible. Our lives and families are so intertwined and I just don’t know what to do. How did you end your long-term relationship? Advice?

Current working as a Director of Sales and Marketing at a large hotel chain. I am now trying to branch out to a work from home position as I have a special needs bonus daughter who we now have every other week 💜. 6w3d and have had manageable nausea for the past few days but since early this morning I have felt horrendous. The absolute sickest I have ever felt. I have thrown up hundreds of times in the past few hours and cannot keep down a bite of cracker or a drop of water. I have ordered b6 and unisom. I’m in final stages of interviews with Accenture for a PM role. I’m based in Chicago with over 5 years relevant experience and certified in agile. Before talking more, the recruiter gave a 105 salary cap, but averages online look more like 112-123. They seem very excited about me.

If I get the offer, should I go ahead and ask for higher? Any Accenture PMs have additional info on salary and/or salary band levels (or who just generally have tips)?

Hey friends happy Friday. If So far I have done everything but dev within the software product cycle; and I now want to enter the area of PM. With 22 yrs in the industry - how do I best position my never been a PM before? AND I feel I have been at the other end of the role’s dependencies - so I feel a PM role would bring all of my experience together. I doubt I should apply for a junior PM; how i best position myself here?
