Hi. I have experience in data engineering (azure) and got offer in kpmg for ctc 14,75,000, (13lakh fixed+ bonus etc.) + joining bonus 1,25,000.
Another offer in IBM for fixed 14 lakh + joining 2lakh.
Please suggest which one to choose.
My priorities are work life balance, good hike every year, benefits etc.,
please suggest which company I can choose kpmg vs ibm?
Thanks
Im a VP of project management with 12 years of experience. I was promoted last year and my base plus variable comp (dependent on team utilization, company revenue, gross margin etc) is right around 200k.
Yea I’d imagine you need to be director/manager level to make that happen. I’m thinking there’s certain companies that the entire package might level out to 200k for just a standard PM or senior PM
Program manager in tech, TC is $175 - it is possible!
Unrelated/different field 2010-2015, Agency 2015-2018, solo/freelance 2018-2019, larger company 2019-2021, tech 2021-current!
I got my PMP in 2020 which helped, and worked on tech clients while at agencies. Also important to note I requested a title change from project to program manager as early as possible in my career. Some companies don’t know the difference but it matters when you’re in tech.
25 YOE and nope. Yes I hate myself
yep
At tech companies, sure. It will likely be a mix of cash and stock though.
Yep!
For whatever it’s worth I’m an AD coming on a decade experience in creative and media making 145k. I think I can get to 200 without going tech.
Yes that’s different you are also an ADPM!
yes, 15+ years of experience.
That’s great congrats
Maybe pharma? I hit 130k at SPM
Oh man I’m sorry. The only pm is rough.
