My concern is because this is a one UX resource request, leaving my current leadership position to become an Agile team feeding, UI-producing consultant. What are the questions you ask the client before you switch to another billable project to mitigate such risks?

When I joined the company I was to inherit a very small team of 2 to grow. In the past I have managed and built teams of 3-300.

Question for UX Researchers: what is a stipend range for an intern or junior researcher that is respectable? It would probably be 5-10 hours every other week: a side, side gig.

Hi guys, I am updating my ux design portfolio. Any good project ideas that I can work on ? Please recommend.

I accepted an offer recently and just got the email about tech equipment. It seems like a generic email: Laptop: Mac or PC, Monitor: Y or N, Mouse: Y or N, etc.
The thing is, I’m pretty picky about equipment and don’t want just any random monitor, mouse, etc. sent to me because it’ll impact my ability to do my job well. Is it rude to include links to the specific items I’d prefer? How do I phrase it so I don’t sound like an ass? I know I may not get everything, but don’t think it hurts to ask

I have over 10 years experience in design/marketing. The companies I worked for are small businesses (Less than 100 employees) so I’ve had to wear many hats (e-mail, print, social media management & ads, and very little google analytics and ads). I’m considering a change in career and would like to work fully-remote. I feel inadequate for the current workplace. I know no UX/UI, relatively no web design, no video experience. Is it imposter syndrome? Any tips or recommendations?

Is there any truth to this? Or is it just bitter people who didn't get hired?

I've heard the work life balance is tough, and that people usually leave after less than 1.5 years because the churn is crazy.
