Any reason to keep old Becker books? Passed the exam back in early 2017 and feel a need to keep them every time I go to pitch.

I still have mine from 2014-2015. Just can’t get my self to throw them out even though I haven’t looked at them since and probably never will

Just tossed my Becker binders from 1990! Did not even know I still had them.

At this point they’re pretty outdated, I’d toss them personally unless you have some other reason to keep them

My mom kept them well since 2015 until today. She saw me studying late nights so she decided to keep them. She keeps anything related to my studies and I haven't seen her in over 2 years due to this virus 🥲

Just tossed mine from 2018 a couple weeks ago. Hadn’t looked at then since i passed. Toss em.

I tossed mine but honestly regret it now. I think any book(s) you sink 100s of hours into are worth keeping even if they just sit there. Put them in your closet and make the decision a year from now.

When you are switching firms, what do you care about? What kind of questions do you have? Do you ask about where the company is going and what strategies they are taking? How do you ask about culture? Do you ask about happy hours or team composition? What matters to you other than compensation and WLB? hey all, i’m 3 years into my career. some decent work produced, some awards (mostly student). after getting laid off last fall and many many applications and emails sent, I’ve decided to spend time and money on a creative PR stunt to get my dream agencies’ attention. I’ve decided I don’t want to settle any longer, and I’m ready to make the jump to the elite. so people that have made it to their dream agencies: when did it happen for you, what made it happen, and was it everything you hoped for?

The recent most billable hours post, inspired me. What is your longest billable day? Mine was 56 hours straight with no break—and the partner was more than a jerk when I was saying no more at the 30 hour point. That was two 24 hour billable days back to back on my time sheet and on the bill, a 360 hour month, and 650 aggregated for two months. And it is one reason (of so many reasons) why this job can suck so much! At least I got a good bonus...
