Helped plan one for my sister-in-law! It was cute, we played virtual baby bingo, had some guessing games (when will baby be born, weight, eye color).... everyone sent in a baby picture and I put them in a powerpoint for us to guess who was who.... we also all bought her dinner and coordinated with hubby to have it delivered while we were online with her... pretty fun for what it was!

Love these ideas thank you!

I went to one two weeks ago - it was awkward. Not gonna lie.

Ya... this is what I’m worried about. But it’s my best friends first baby so trying to give her a little bit of the shower experience. Is there anything you think made it unnecessarily so or that could have made it a little better?

We wrote a baby book for a coworker, turned it into a sweet little PDF book with illustrations et al. Other ones we’ve virtually collected funds to give to them in an e-gift card or buying an item from their registry (usually a bigger ticket item like a stroller). man, now that i think it it, everyone’s having babies at work. Done so many baby showers thru zoom. Usually we make a fake meeting, everyone has a themed zoom background, we present the gift, then awkwardly chat over drinks on zoom.

Hosted one for a colleague at work via Zoom. We assembled a video montage on VidHug which was super easy and allowed us to provide that “keepsake” gift. E-gift cards, has a cake delivered, sent a decoration kit from Amazon that her husband decorated for us and played a few games. She then gave us a tour of the nursery which was cute too.

Baby furniture. What is everyone doing? FTM and trying to figure out if it’s worth investing in very expensive nursery furniture. We were looking at the Natart furniture collection and the Silva collections. These both come in at about $2000-$2400. The furniture is high quality and grows with the child. Alternatively I could go the lower end route at get everything for like $800. Is that wise? I hear horror stories about low quality and paint chipping from the baby teething on the crib.

Hi , Does epam support maternity leaves or could be a challenge for recent joiners. Thanks!

Covid has been disruptive to not just the economy, job sector, social life but has also been a big PITA(pain in the ass) for the singles that are seeking or ready to get into a relationship. I grew up in a low income and single parent family. Humble beginnings. Now doing an average job as an accountant. I always feel inferior and insecure during a relationship. I know it’s not good but I cannot stop feeling that way. I don’t know how to become the confident, outgoing and stress free version of myself.

What to do for a spouse who is struggling emotionally but refuses to get professional help? I’m 17 weeks pregnant with our first. My husband is really struggling with emotional/ mental health. I’ve asked him to consider counseling or other medical alternatives. Instead, he wants to talk to me until 11:30 pm or 12 am at night. I want to be there for him but I can’t. I’m tired. I’m still working VERY full time, and I was just diagnosed with early onset preeclampsia 😫

Is there anyone that is teaching from home and your students have returned to school? How did you get permission to do that and how does that work with kids in the classroom? I am guessing there has to be an adult in the room while the students are in there but is there another teacher during their planning or do you have to get a sub? Our reentry has been delayed and I am working with HR to try and stay home while students aren’t there but it looks like I’m going to have to take some Parental Leave once students do return because there is not a plan otherwise.

I have a startup that deals with a very niche market. We've been having issues reaching our customer profile on FB and IG ads. We've done Youtube videos with influencers and one of them said they would share their Facebook and IG audience. I know they would have to create custom audiences and then share them with my account, but I was looking for advice on what custom audiences should he create on our behalf? We want to target his IG followers and people who interact with his FB page.
