15% bonds at a minimum

I’m 50 and bonds are between 28-30%. Think that’s about right? Otherwise I’m 15% small/mid cap domestic, 22-23% international, and the remainder large cap domestic. I also am increasingly looking to include infrastructure, utilities, some types of REIT and other high yield equities to produce cash flow.

I’m looking to transition from healthcare management (clinical and PM work) to healthcare consulting. I’m based in ATL and actively looking. I have about 5 YOE and have worked with senior management. Any insight or leads? I have done a lot of research on boutique, medium size and big 4 firms but it’s tough to make the switch without a referral. Anyone willing to help a sister out?!

Coming from Africa, I started my own practice in my country 2 years ago while having my full time job with Deloitte (discussed with my partner). With the demand I have many clients now and managing both is killing me, I know I should leave. The problem now becomes that I like my boss so much, he did a lot of my career and was always supportive. He's 68 and planning to retire soon and should make me partner by the next 2 yrs. I am lost 😭 and stuck to make a clear decision. Any help ?

Let's say I have 100k invested in a SaaS startup that went public. I'm 28, employed, have another 35k invested in ETFs/dozen other stocks and have maxed out my 401k and roth contributions. I'm bullish on the startup for the long term. Would you: 1) Recoup your initial investment pre-IPO and let the rest ride 2) Sell the full 100k, pay capital gains tax, and diversify 3) A mix of both, and if so what allocation

Genuine question. I would have voted for Bernie or Yang, but find it silly that I need to include that as a disclaimer to convince people that I might actually be a sane human being. I consider myself liberal, which is very different from considering myself a leftist. I support free speech. I support equality on all fronts. I am very intrigued by the idea of universal basic income, and am interested in proposals for universal healthcare (though I do hate Obamacare). However (continued)...

I’m a 1st year, hired early this year, and I’ve largely been doing litigation (mostly insurance and general civil lit) and recently we’ve had a shortage of corporate associates as a few went on leave so I’ve been asked to do more corporate work, and I’m struggling. It’s a huge learning curve and I’m constantly missing things in what is obviously a super detail-driven area (e.g. messing up defined terms, relying too much on precedents when it’s very situation-specific). Any suggestions?

Hey folks, I need help choosing start dates for work (graduating May 2021), I'm deciding between putting January 2022 and September 2021 as my first choice and leaning towards January with the following considerations Pros: - travel - time with friends and family - time to do social impact internship - off chance of doing another internship at a tech company Cons: - delayed accumulation of tenure - could be waste if I don't proactively plan my time - slightly less income Any thoughts/advice?
