Any recommendations for a small but effective blender? I like making shakes with ice, berries, spinach, dates, cocoa, and milk, but don’t need some massive overpowered turbine.

Based in the US.

Nutribullet hands down no questions asked. I make protein/kale/banana/etc smoothies for breakfast every weekday—for at least the past 5-7 years. Started with magic bullet but it was too small and not powerful enough. Nutribullet is the ticket. Super easy to use, and so damn easy to rise off and clean. I’ve been through a few nutribullet a but always replace immediately. They last a couple years usually. Worth every penny. Any other blender is a huge hassle to clean.

I love my ninja, but have a travel blender (<25 bucks) for small shakes and it handles ice - not sure about vegetables tho.

Looking for suggestions.
I'm a scotch whisky drinker, pretty much exclusively, apart from a few select Irish bottles. Live in Ireland. So go tos would be Springbank, Kilkerran, Laphroaig, Caol Ila, Arran, Highland Park, Glengoyne...

On many visits to the US I've tried various Bourbons. Never very successful. Always seemed overly sweet and syrupy to my palette.

But I'm sure there are great choices out there.

What would you suggest as quality American whiskies for a scotch fanatic?

Hello Fishers, I was placed in campus this year. As a Technical consultant in PWC India and I’ll be joining this Jan 2023 for Internship my Full Time starts in August 2023 , can I know is there a possibility for recession to effect my job in the future? Like in some companies the HR just asks you to resign since they cannot find projects due to recession. Should I be applying off campus roles to be safe?

Has anyone successfully dealt with scar tissue? I had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks and a d&c. Had a 2nd d&c because there was more tissue. Then did an egg retrieval and before the transfer we did a hysteroscopy and found scar tissue. Removed the scar tissue, uterine balloon, and 4 weeks of estrogen therapy. Just did another hysteroscopy and some of the scar tissue came back AND I had an enormous amount of polyps from the estrogen. All of that was removed today and I have another (continued)

Is it better to take out a personal loan for credit card debt vs a debt consolidation? I decided to do a personal loan with a bank I already have a mortgage with. I did 16% for three years vs having multiple credit cards with 25% interest. The loan covers two of my four credit cards. But a friend said I could’ve gotten a better deal with debt consolidation bc they have relationships with credit card companies.

Any update on salary hike letter?

I’ve had back pain, either in lower back or sciatic nerve for the past 8 months. I got released from physical therapy around the holidays because I was making improvements and wasn’t in pain. However, since returning to work and working busy season hours it’s difficult to stay seated for most of the day. I bought a standing desk, but was wondering if anyone has any suggestions? I need to make some serious changes as I’m 27 and should not have this much back pain so young 😢

Can I have some advice on how to lose 4-6 pounds?

I was in my ideal body weight until the last couple of months when I gained weight (I stopped working out and I was not eating healthy at all). I retook IF, healthy eating & exercise (HIIT mostly) to start off the year - I know 2-3 weeks is nothing but I'm getting frustrated because it's been easier for me to lose weight in the past yet I'm not sure why I see no changes this time. If anything I feel more flabbier and soft.

I started working out and cleaned up my diet with the main goal being weight loss, but I'm really frustrated.

It's been a month, I feel like the effort I put in is huge and exhausting, but I haven't lost a pound, although I can see there's been a bit of muscle gain and I lost half an inch from my waist.

How do I find the motivation to keep going when I feel like the progress is so minimal?
