Bain & Company Can any Bain & Company fish provide insight on Bain's expense policy? When WFH, at client site (outside of based city) and when working with local client...
It would also be helpful to provide insight on travel policy - first class in which flights, always 5-star hotels? Etc.
Thank you!
Make $120k Accenture now doing tech implementations, just got offer 200k TC EY business consulting. I love my job, have a great WLB (working 20 hours per week, no travel, clear path to M in about 1.5 years) - am I an idiot for even contemplating staying? What I would be doing is more PPT/functional vs Onestream/technical which I do now.

Depends on when you’re going and what your plans are.
It’s always nice to be able to walk to the beach. For that your options are the W SoBe, Royal Palms, and a courtyard Marriott 2 blocks from the beach.
W is always nice.
Royal palms is ok. I thought the rooms were not much better than a holiday inn but it’s right on the beach and tigger two free bikes per f
Room for rental
The courtyard seemed like an ok location but I haven’t stayed there
If you’re ok not not stay on the beach the W Brickell is super nice and spacious. But you’ll need a car to get anywhere. It’s closer to some Children’s museums
W south beach for sureeeee
Royal Palm should be avoided. It’s not a nice hotel. The only thing going for it is its location. It has a small pool and paper thin rooms
Yeah agree. Royal palm is def not the best hotel but it’s free and location isn’t bad, plus its oceanfront and free on pointsssss There’s the edition which is a Marriott property and in a better location and is overall a nicer property. The w Miami is nice but don’t know about for kids though at this time you should be be fine. It’s pricier and you’ll have to spend more points
Key biscayne is nice but super duper quiet and sleepy. The closest place to go out and have dinner is brickell which I don’t love , unless you stay on the key or at hotel...
I was just there over Xmas and key Biscayne is quiet. If you don’t mind driving it could be nice. You’re close to a few things - the Vizcaya Museum, a children’s museum is somewhat close too The other thing to keep in mind is where you intend to go.. there are these draw bridges that go up multiple times and that could be annoying to wait.
Thanks guys - I’ve got two little kids so quiet and onsite is what I’m going for. SoBe better for trips without the little ones.
There’s also the St Regis Bal Harbour, which is supposed to be one of the best in the States (I have never been), but the points rate is extremely expensive.
