@Deloitte 🐠 if someone wanted to find a role in Cybersecurity, would it be better to look at the Deloitte advisory or Deloitte consulting? E.g. Is the advisory side mainly compliance exercises, etc?

Currently working as a billing and collections specialist in the Finance Department at a law firm. I’m hoping to move into more or a strategic/analytical role in a new industry, possibly tech or marketing, but have had trouble getting past the first round of interviews since my current role has not made me super marketable. Is there any advice for networking into projects when you don’t know many people at the firm yet? I always to help on BD work when I’m on the bench, but it never turns into any billable work. Every time I have talked to a partner/senior manager I was told I don’t have the skill set they’re looking for, but I don’t know how to build up from there. Feeing very lost but I want to improve my approach.
