Microsoft why are you damn obsessed with making so much of your software “start on startup” by default?
It’s so annoying and Microsoft teams is the LeAST efficient chatting app out there so it’s awful on resources. Slack is SO much faster and doesn’t start on startup (I don’t think ?)…
you’re really quite something to blatantly copy the competition, make your product more sluggish, and then add in your nasty ass dark patterns. Microsoft teams = bloatware 90% of the time. Stop prioritizing it

Define what you want to do in tech .. sales, development etc. Learn it ..Take a job at a tech company ... sounds to me you might be ok with project management so maybe explore if thats something you might like
Yea, as the previous guy said, tech is massive, your first step would be to figure out exactly what you'd like to do. I recommend having a primary and secondary goal maybe even tertiary
It's going to be a long shot since you said you don't have any tech background. It's really hard to break into the tech platform if you lack the required skills. But don't be discouraged. Try to figure out what you really want to do then concentrate on your goal.

I spent half of my career in finance and just switched to tech earlier this month. I would suggest spending time on researching the companies and their diff then compare your transferable skills to what they are looking for in the openings. Tech is huge and there are plenty of roles out there but my recommendations based on your post would be to look into UX, customer success, project management or product management then explore further out if those don’t seem to fit. Good luck!
