I’m an Environmental Protection Specialist and make pretty good money for what I do. I just feel like I have more to offer than being a worker bee in a system at 25. I work with a lot of retirees and would love to return in my latter professional years. I have my Bachelors in Applied Coastal Environmental Science and want to expand my options. Recruiter lied about interview process and job type. First interview goes well and interviewer tried to schedule me for in-person interview first thing next morning. Yesterday (Thanksgiving) my husband accused me of being a workaholic because I opted to spend 10 minutes doing some necessary work before the festivities. He said, "Its a holiday! Spend it with us!" He was wearing noise cancelling headphones, watching a football game on his phone as he said this.
