Any recommendations for debt collectors (fintech company)?

Hi all - figuring out loan options. Does anyone know if it’s better to choose:
A.) a longer term loan with a higher interest rate and overpay each month (0.5% higher interest, ~300 less in payment each month)
B.) a shorter term loan with a lower interest rate and meet the monthly payment exactly

Or how to calculate the better option?

New 🐟 here! Currently make $150k, wife makes $50k. I’m an immigrant and came to the US with almost no money. Wife is a citizen but grew up poor. Neither of us really knows how to budget / plan for the future. So far I’ve just been reading articles on the internet and trying to follow general advice.

I called to help desk and he advised to raise rectification request from Tax portal and update the challan number. I tried to raise request but need to upload some XML or json file there. I am not sure how to upload or modify that file.

The housing market is not going to crash simply because interest rates are rising. This will on temper demand, and slow the price appreciation of homes. Been in house for about a year. I just found out that a new hire who has 1-2 less years of experience than me (but will have the same role/title as me) received a compensation package significantly higher than me, mostly due to the market dynamics with law firm associates’ compensation being ratcheted up the past year. Can I ask for an equitable raise mid year? And if so, how? I got rave reviews but an immaterial pay bump (3%) at year end in December.

After trying to find an in-house job since July, I finally have an offer at a company that I really like. Total comp is around $20-25k off from where I want to be. Equity comp may be the only way to bridge the gap but they said they don’t normally include equity comp at the corporate counsel level, which is odd. I have found that most companies do. Should I add my secondment experience to my resume/LinkedIn profile? I've never seen anyone do this but it seems like something that would be appealing to in-house employers. Just wondering about the best way to highlight this experience for in-house positions.

Has anyone recently made the switch to in house and now feel unorganized and less productive than when billing hours? For what it is worth, I’ve received good reviews and my superiors seems to be pleased with my work. Litigation was just so task based because of needing to hit billables, so without that requirement I feel a little like a fish out of water.

I just started in-house for the first time, as a first in house (IP) attorney in the US. I’m new to the role and the company is new to having an attorney. Please recommend where I can learn about in house best practices? For example, I’d like to set up proper communication processes to maintain attorney client privilege whenever possible, and other new processes to mitigate basic legal risks. Is there a comprehensive checklist or a guide?
