We use ThinkHR and KnowB4 for compliance training. Has high quality training videos and was cheaper than doing a live sessions with a trainer. Plus you can track completion electronically. Hope it helps!

Agreed - ThinkHR is great

We are east coast based (NY/NJ) and have had a good experience with LRN (www.lrn.com). They are easy to work with and flexible.

We have LRN but there was a big uproar about how poor the training content was

Percipio/Skillsoft - great library, content and reasonably priced.

This may be just a naive/dumb question, but how do you relax when you’ve got a really stressful file? I’m a junior and I’ve been putting in ~10ish billable hours a day recently, which is more than I’m used to. The evenings (post-8pm) are generally my time to decompress - read a book, watch dumb tv, whatever - but it’s been all work lately until 10 or 11pm and I struggle to go straight from work to bed. Any insight on what everyone else does?

Friend of mine was coaching me on an upcoming Amazon interview. “They’ll be looking for any reason not to hire you.” I’m frankly not sure I’d want to work somewhere that thinks like that.

Help! I am 6’1” tall with long legs and long feet .... and it seems like my “go to online store” for tall pants/slacks (32”-34” inseam) as well as shoes (size 14M) has shuttered (Long Tall Sally). I would love any suggestions for either tall clothes and/or shoes. Even a place to buy custom shoes at this point - I am desperate! My slightly too small size 13 Tory Burch sandals are just not going to cut it during the colder months, even given COVID 🤪 Thanks in advance!

Anyone working with TATA CLIQ? Requesting a referral

Did any big 4 firms meet target this year... heard raises are lower throughout all firms?

Just told my fairly new bf how much I make and he makes 3 times of how much I’m making right now. I had a big career setback because of covid and my salary hasn’t increased for a while. He cares about money and being rich so much I feel like he might dump me at some point. I won’t be upset if he does because that’s on him, but I feel so insecure about how ridiculously poorly I’m doing in life:(. Just wanted to let it out

Accenture folks, do you get a bonus with mid year promotion?

Is Deloitte’s life science practice hiring right now? Anyone willing to give a referral?

That time of the year when you've been maxing the 401k all year and finally hit the limit. The extra bread in your paycheck feels like a fake bonus.

I noticed few people joining FAAS group from other big 4 audit. What does FAAS group do exactly? Thanks.

Are people still leaving Deloitte? Left earlier in the year right around when the bonus hit and a few others left around the same time as me. Wondering if things are all calmed down now and has reached some form of steady state w.r.t. staff turnover.

Are there any certification that would be helpful for someone on analytics ?

At what point did y’all let work know about pregnancy? Up for promotion this year want to get that promo which I’m cutting it close with yearly review.

What are partners going to do with the massive amount of senior turnover? Considering changing anything? Upping pay, benefits, hours? Less understaffing? Anything?

I am hoping for some advice. I was a young mom (17 when pregnant) and ended up having three kids by 23. I’ve since pulled myself up by my boot straps and am doing well in my career and have seen good trajectory. The thing is, it’s always nagged at me that I never went to college. I don’t want to go to college in the traditional sense but my new employer offers some tuition reimbursement (if related to the job). I’m in tech, specifically software. What should I look into?

Hit it off with someone junior on the client side today (around my age). Not sure I’ll ever need to interact with / see them again. Do I go for it and add them on social media? Bad idea?

Laid off bc of lack of work, told I have a few weeks to find a new job BUT have been getting assigned new projects since then. Wtf do I do?

Any companies hiring for Director level+ in Information Security / GRC? I have 8+ YOE - mix of Big 4, smaller consulting/advisory, and industry experience. Industry has been focused on FinTech/Startup space, but worked with both mid-size/large clients when at Big 4 & consulting/advisory.

Looking for internship opportunities for my cousin sister. She is a btech student and will graduate in 2022. Please help urgent need. Needs some financial support

I posted a few weeks ago about an awesome interview I had for a dream job with the CEO of a company. I had a follow up interview with someone else and just found out I didn’t get it. I’m crushed and doubting myself. Did I come across too strong? Was I way too eager? Do I have no skills? I feel like I’ll be stuck in consulting forever and I’m worried I burned a bridge.
