Any recommendations for Invisalign providers in DC? Also - would it be cheaper to find someone out in the suburbs, or is it about the same everywhere?

I’m getting mine at Watergate dental, picking up the trays this week. Based on my research, it sounds like it’s a pretty consistent price across the board and also depends on insurance. Can’t speak for NOVA, but ultimately I chose to just go with my regular dentist. Mine came to $5500, insurance is paying for $2k over the course of treatment (1 year for me). I got a 5% discount for paying the lump sum up front. So with all that considered, $3,325 out of pocket.

I go to First Impressions Orthodontics in Alexandria and they are amazing. Might be worth the trip just for the free consult. I went originally for Invisalign but actually got Inbrace after they talked through my options.

For all the PA exit timing questions (senior/manager,etc) from my experience, I don't believe your PA level is most important. Leave for the right role with explicit managerial duties such as (cont)

Work at a hold co and tired of hearing the ceo’s are in it with us and taking cuts? I call BS on that! They are only reducing salary and will still earn millions. Omnicom John Wren - $19,818,780 in 2019, his 2020 sacrifice = 5.05% reduction. IPG – Michael Roth $16,590,172 in 2019 his 2020 sacrifice is undisclosed. WPP Mark Read £2,594,000 in 2019 his 2020 sacrifice = 1.88% reduction. Publicis Arthur Sadoun €3,265,800 in 2019 his 2020 sacrifice = 4.6% reduction.

Anyone working in M&A finance can give their thoughts on the job? I like FDD but want something just a little (not too much) slower paced. I’m seeing a few of these job postings pop up and am curious what the interview process will be like

Any experiences going from management consulting to a sales role? Specifically in tech?

Is there any B4 firm(except KPMG) that hire experienced associate in FDD? I am looking around the web and most seems to be looking for only seniors. (PwC does but practically Senior cuz they require 2 years of experience)

Not work related but idk where to ask this. We’ve been invited to our first post Covid cookout. It’s at my husband’s former colleagues place so we don’t the hosts too well but we know there are not going to be any kids so mostly a grown up football party. What would bring to it? Because of the current scenario I’m skeptical of bringing my home cooked dip.

I’ve been through 5+ weeks of interviews with a company that will IPO next year and they did a bait and switch on me with the offer: it was advertised as “Head of” and then during the offer-walk-through-meeting today they said “oh btw we changed the title to ‘Senior Manager’ for this role”. They offered me a salary I made 4 years ago as a manager. They offered stock options with an exercise price TBD 1 year from now…which is when they’re hitting IPO. Is that normal for stock options?

Any fish out here that have transitioned from a staff attorney to an associate role? If you have, what was your path and what all did you do?
