Best men's watch brands less than $500?
For anyone using Khan Academy and Canvas I made a free application built on a Google Spreadsheet that reads in Khan Academy CSV files and sends the scores to the Canvas gradebook. Demo video below and link to site. Hope it helps someone! The setup takes a bit but it has made grading Khan exercises so much easier and quicker.

I have typically followed some "real moms" on YouTube. Would advise to not follow pages or channels of "holier than thou" kind of moms who put on a facade of never losing their calm or cool for even a moment. Its simply not true. Motherhood is rewarding but just like everything else in life, it comes with a lot of blood, sweat and tears. Follow your mama instincts and listen to mommies that you know and admire in real life. Lots of love to you and the little one

Second this! Also watch it with your partner so that you can also split up responsibilities upfront. Changes will happen post baby but atleast this approach helped my husband to understand he is Incharge of diapers and any excretion responsibilities…

Not a class but check out the Baby 411 book. My pediatrician is Austin wrote it and it’s very informational. It’s a great guide to refer back to when you bring the baby home.
I would wait to take CPR until later. You don’t need it until they’re eating solids (4-6 months). We took a class before birth and I could not remember a single thing from it when the time came to actually know it. We had to take a refresher
I’d focus on 3 things:
- watch something about giving birth. I personally wanted an epidural and was getting induced, but if you want a crunchier birth, I would highly highly recommend spending time looking at meditation / calming techniques for when the pain hits. Also knowing about alternatives is helpful since what you prefer may not happen
- taking cara babies or similar. She’s controversial (her husband donated a bunch to trump) but her videos were so critical for us for learning how to soothe the baby and create healthy sleeping habits. My husband loved the classes too.
- if you plan to even try breastfeeding once, watch a YouTube video at least on how to. We didn’t end up breastfeeding but I did try and didn’t watch any videos and while he latched well, the nurses were pretty horrified when I ripped his mouth off my nipple without separating it first. Oops.
Also, I like the moms on call book. It’s not a book, more checklists written by L&D nurses about how to handle various things (sickness, rashes, sleep).
I don’t use the entire book, but used their sleep schedule by age in the back of the book religiously

Two things I’ve taken over Zoom this pregnancy that I have loved:
- Prenatal fitness classes (teacher is Oh Baby certified) - took these right up until the very end (I’m 37 wks so sticking to walking because I’m so clumsy)
- Coordinated pushing class to prepare for labor (same instructor) - absolutely loved this! My OB’s childbirth class was more about labor and this class was all about how to push most effectively. It’s looking like I will have a c-section (baby is breech) but I would highly recommend this class.
Instructor, Allison, based in Atlanta but we have had pregnant ladies join from Chicago, Boston, and other cities since it’s over Zoom.

Look at Boston Naps. Local business but was doing terrific programming online in pandemic. May still do some.
Karrie locher has created classes (bringing home baby and breastfeeding). She is a postpartum nurse and once pandemic hit was trying to get info out to moms and started the virtual class. I like it because if you’re planning on breastfeeding I found most classes don’t really cover some of the basics like pumping and what to do when things get hard (theyre more trying to convince people of the benefits) . She also has saved content on instagram that can be helpful. Congrats and don’t get overwhelmed by all of these suggestions - just pick a few ☺️
These are all amazingly helpful - thank you!!
