So general question I need to “translate” business speak into plain English. I have had 2 bosses now say they want me to ask more questions. I tend to be solution and Collaboration oriented and like to jump in. My problem is asking questions is hard because I have adhd and I’m trying to concentrate my focus on getting the information I need out of the conversation. So what kind of questions should I be asking? She saying I need to gain perspective on projects? Or. Please help.

This might be a stupid question - how do you get talking to a recruiter? I’ve put in a couple of applications but not had anything back - I’m pretty self aware but genuinely think I’m a very good fit (on paper at least), and feel like talking to a recruiter would help either concretely explain why im perhaps not a good fit, or actually give me a fighting chance amidst a sea of resumes. Did my first egg retrieval today. In so much pain. Feeling discouraged because they counted 30 eggs during monitoring but only retrieved 13. Really sad and disappointed. I've already had 6 failed IUI's.

Ugh... insurance just retracted and now say they don't cover egg freezing after initially saying they do... has anyone flipped insurance no to yes?

Anyone do an IUI cycle with injectables? On 50 units of gonal-f the first 3 days starting today and then will have my first monitoring ultrasound. I’ve done 3 cycles of IUI with letrozole previously, the first worked until an 8 week MC. Trying a different protocol so wanted to see if others had any advice/experiences to share?

Sorry if this isn't relevant to this bowl. I have PCOS and was on birth control pills for 3 years. I got off it and we started trying right away. It's been 50 days and I didn't have my period. I was certain we got lucky and this morning the pregnancy test was negative. I had my hopes up too much and this test result hurt me more than I expected. I started feeling guilty about my weight, prioritizing my career and felt really disappointed. I know it's early and we can still try but it hurts 😞

Feeling a bit down today. Yet another friend just told me she is pregnant — not a complete surprise, I suspected when I saw her on a prior socially-distanced outing. But still frustrated at myself. I’ve had multiple egg retrievals and have already had two cancelled transfers due to issues with my lining each time. Just feels like everyone around me is getting pregnant while for me, it’s still issue after issue popping up. Also reminded of the fact that I had a miscarriage a year ago this time.

What is considered day 1 of a frozen embryo transfer? Is it the day of transfer or day after?

Hey PCOS fish, I’m getting conflicting information from my OBGYN and RE wrt whether I have PCOS. OBGYN tested my LH, FSH, TSH and Estradiol (all normal) and said I didn’t have it (no ultrasound). RE said I probably do have it based on a phone consultation are ordered AMH testing and an ultrasound. Should I insist on any other tests to be sure? Testosterone, DHEA, T3, T4 etc? All these visits are draining my blood and HSA, with no clear path forward and I’m tired of going back and forth for tests

Had my second retrieval yesterday. They got three eggs and two fertilized. So far, this is the exact same thing that happened my last retrieval in January. Three total eggs, two fertilized. They weren't growing super well so we did a fresh transfer for both (and neither stuck).

Feeling a bit discouraged that the same pattern is repeating itself again. Probably will end up doing a fresh transfer for both of these embryos (again). I'm 33 with unexplained low ovarian reserve. Just sucks.

Been trying for 2 years, started the fertility doctor tests, then lost coverage. Just got it back and did a “reset” appointment at fertility clinic, only to find out I’m pregnant. The irony!

After two failed embryo transfers, I feel incredibly deflated. Where do we go from here ? How do we understand why embryo didn't implant and what should we do next.

Anyone have tips for a successful FET? I had two failed FETs last year, but finally gearing up for another FET in a few weeks and having mixed emotions. Worried that we’ll have the same outcome as before, but also hopeful that *maybe* this will be the one that works for us. Differences vs. last year: had a myomectomy to remove a submucosal fibroid and switched clinics to a RE that I think is great / trust much more than my prior doctor (also had 3 more ERs at this new clinic). My husband and I have been TTC for 6 months. I’m 28 and he’s 32. I know they say you should wait 1 year until you see a doctor.

We want to see a doctor soon so they can help us sooner than later.
I’m concerned that doctor may be dismissive towards us and say “come back later”. But I’ve known family members who said they wished they saw doctor earlier as some issues can be spotted and fixed easily.

I’m interested in hearing others experience on when you first went to see a doctor.
