Any recommendations for top tier, will fight to get you the best offer insurance recruiters or recruiting firms? Tired of talking to recruiters who tell me I’m asking for too much when I know people making what I’m asking or more (with less experience).

I haven't really found anyone tbh...I think you just gotta go through a lot of recruiters before you find the right one. It also depends on the quality of who they work with

like

Not the best advice but change your LinkedIn to open to work, and respond to every recruiter message you get regardless of what your initial thoughts are, tell them your expectations of salary and be forward about not wanting to entertain less. Eventually this worked for me and I wouldn’t take an interview without knowing my expectation could be met.

Completely understandable. I make 6 figures with 4 YOE. So with 7, you should be able to as well (in my opinion).

I earn €30k/y in the Netherlands. At a good agency. Wasn't able to negotiate. How does that compare to other Jr strategist positions? When can I ask for a raise? I've been pulling my weight for sure!

I recently learned that a new hire is making significantly more than me. I currently make $58K but am expecting a $10K raise soon. The new hire is making $78K. Their position does not have a bigger work load than me. If anything my position has a larger workload and is more crucial to the organization. I also helped fill in some gaps while we were trying to hire someone for this position. I plan to ask my boss for $80K. Any thoughts or advice? Thanks!

I’m looking for a new job!! It has been impossible to build a good relationship with my manager, he isn’t transparent with me and never provides any constructive feedback so I have no idea how I’m performing. I recently asked for a raise since I completed all my assigned projects for this year plus a few that I took on due to resignations and was denied with no reason. I’m so checked out and looking for a new job and manager that I can learn from and will help me grow, any help is appreciated!

I just got an offer at a series B startup and it was my 1st choice, however now I’m seeing that their maternity leave benefit really stinks (12 weeks paid at 67% of salary with a cap of $1000/week and I’d still have to pay health insurance). Considering the uncertainty in the economy along with this crummy benefit, should I keep looking or take a chance and hope for the best?

My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. It’s lower than my current salary and significantly lower than what I’d make by taking the first offer. Do I take the high salary and stay in claims or go for UW in hopes it will be best in long run?

Hello! I am a 5th year associate in a major TX metro. My base is $150,000 and after this year’s bonus expect to earn $220,000. In 2022, I generated $2.1M in net fee for the firm. Is this on par with what other firm’s are paying? Is it more? Is it less? Is it just right?

Help! Should I do an English song since all my bridesmaids/groomsmen are white? If so, any good danceable song recommendations?
