Any recommendations on a sedan or compact suv to lease? $30k-$45k range and preferably one that's recently been redesigned (e.g., Acura TLX or RDX). I wish I can wait but have to get one within the next month.

If leasing, get a Stelvio.

The correct answer for a lease. Great car while it’s under warranty and prob one of a handful of cars on the market you can still get below MSRP atm

The new Acura tlx are pretty. If you don’t care about long term quality the new jeeps Cherokees are nice. If you want to have a fast fun sedan get the scat pack charger with v8 485 HP lol. The new Kia stingers are nice, and fast.

If you were buying I’d say Mazda CX-5. Super comfortable although frustrating infotainment system. Pleasant assisted cruise control or whatever it’s called now. I really don’t care for the Subaru Forester, parents drive one and it’s atrocious.

like

I absolutely LOVE my CX-5, but the infotainment system is an unmitigated disaster. And it's compounded when using Android Auto.

It's literally the only thing about the car that I don't love.

Deciding between LEK and a much smaller firm doing mostly DoD consulting work. LEK offers $40k more (mostly in bonuses) than smaller firm, but smaller firm works less than 50 hrs/wk. Seems like both would be friendly workplaces. I'm having a hard time deciding. Any advice?

I need advice from the collective. It seems like there is a trend to sell wine in unique bottles. The only problem with this, those bottles will not fit into my wine fridge. Crypto noob — I plan to start investing in crypto currency.... yes, yes, tell me more about how silly I am to start this late :)
I did some research on the Block chain technologies and cryptocurrency market and here are my top 3s, and I’d love to hear your opinions. I have <5k to start. Yup, broke.
Best system for trading/asset exchange: 1) gdax, 2) Gemini, 3) coinbase.
Best places to invest now : 1) ether, 2) Litecoin, 3) Ripple or NEM. Given I have only 5k, BTC is too late.
Mistakes/pitfalls to avoid: 1) day trading, 2) not keeping up (news, red flags, market research), 3) tracking circulation

Again, serious responses appreciated!

I have a date I need to match to an array of strings (that represents dates). Eg matching 6 nov 20 to (20201106, 20201107, etc. ). I can convert my date into this format using text(date,”yyyymmdd”) but then my lookup tried to match “20201106” with that list and the “ causes a mismatch. Any hints, and I would prefer not to change the array format?

Is it irresponsible to spend $17k on a car when making $71k?
Current expenses are around $2500 per month including $900 towards retirement savings, so I’m left with around $1500 for going out to bars, eating out, and all stuff. New car would be ~$300 car payment and $150-200 in insurance monthly. Love cars and want something fun to drive around in so seems worth it to me, but don’t want to put myself in a bad place financially. Thank you all in advance, can supply more info if needed

I ordered a Tesla model 3 SR in April and I am able to take delivery this weekend, however I’m now unsure of whether it’s the right move financially. I have a lease on a 2020 BMW X3 that will end next month and was wondering if I should just buy that out and drive it for a few years. If it makes a difference I’m in SoCal so gas is $$$, but no EV charging in my apartment.

Tesla: $830/month + charging and insurance
BMW: $600/m + $150 gas + maint/insurance

Any thoughts? Is the Tesla worth it?
