The Nutshell is good, but for the most basic summary of international tax to help you grasp the basics, I really like United States International Taxation by Postlewaite. It really helped me break down the concepts to start committing them to memory, which in turn helps me spot issues.
Which book? At any rate, no I did not expense any of my tax books. I bought the vast majority of my library during my JD and tax LLM.

International tax in a nutshell like everyone is suggesting helps but is a little heavier reading for my taste lol. Internal technical trainings are pretty good as well. I often will throw one on during a workout. But my favorites are actually from Googling a particular IT subject for an overview when I come across it and YouTube videos. Just make sure it’s post TCJA.
Just picked up International Taxation in a Nutshell per recommendation of others. So far I'm enjoying it (I mean as much as one can lol).
Kinda, newest version released 11/2019. Quite a few changes since then but pretty up to date.

Coursera has a good class on international taxation. It's not too nuanced but at the same time it's thorough enough to give a comprehensive overview. Lawline has a lot of great CLE on inbound tax.
