Any recommendations on companies with generous paid military leave polices, especially in the health care / life sciences industry? I know a lot of pharma companies do though trying to see what my other options are. I'm in the Guard and looking to switch from a law firm to in house.

I would like the federal gov would be the best. Especially defense. There any so many positions if you cast a net including army navy etc.

For paid leave govt is definitely your best bet. I’m at a major healthcare/life sciences company military leave is typically unpaid beyond 90 days accusing our policies.

Thanks. That's good to know. Though 90 days is still better than the 10 business days of paid military leave my law firm offers.

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks

Hello guys
I'm a software eng with 4 yrs of exp.
I got 2 offer, one is for sen software eng for 23 lpa and another is for sen devops eng 21 lpa.
Since I have interest in devops, I thought of moving into devops and also ppl says that devops have good future.
I agreed but I have a doubt here, whatever the scope u have in devops, in future if I want to change job, the organisation is going to fix the salary based my current package at that time right? Then what is mean scope is good in future??

I just listened to an interview of a creative director recount their path towards copywriting at a famous ad agency. It could not have been a more textbook case of failing upwards as a white man.

It would seem the only thing you need to make it as an advertising creative is to have lots of not particularly original ideas. Practically every other skill is unnecessary. If you’re a white man.

That this level of mediocrity passes for talent explains why so many agency briefs are so lame.

I am interviewing for a new IT Manager position. I started putting out soft feelers and then hit the hunt harder. The problem: I have one offer and need to give an answer by next Wednesday. I have two other opportunities that are in final steps but probably won’t have offers by next Wednesday. Both of the other offers will be higher pay but clearly are uncertain for offers. Do I accept the offer I have, which is a good one or wait for the other two to finalize and possibly miss out altogether?
