Sharing my story: I carry an abnormal gene in which me and my wife's first child was affected. We decided with our second child to use IVF. We started our journey in January 2021 and my wife went through 4 IVF cycles using my sperm in a 9 month span (her choice). We decided after the 4th round failed to go a different route and use sperm donation to rid us of the gene. During 2022, she went through 4 rounds of IUI and finally got one that stuck.
