How is everyone staying motivated at work while going through fertility treatments? On days when I have appts or get my period, all I want to do is google and read forums about it. My utilization is tanking (not because I’m blowing off work, but because I need to find and take on new work) but can’t get the energy to). My creative team lets the account team drive the copy and art direction for the team because they are the most knowledgeable people on the brand. It is the path of least resistance. I’ve heard of some account service individuals who jumped from Account Executive/Account Manager to Account Supervisor (vs AE -> SAE -> AS). From research, it’s seems like an SAE requires 3-4 YOE and an AS required 4-6 YOE. However, for those who have experienced this jump in their own career, do you feel the account sup role you landed to be more “junior level” than a “normal” AS role normally is? Did your team feel adequately supported, or should they have hired a more experience AS?

People jump ship all the time to get a better pay bump. I am happy with my current company but I want a back up plan in case this "temporary busy period" becomes permanent. Any suggestions on the art to find another job when you aren't in a desperate need for one? Should I follow through with interviews and then politely decline if my circumstance improves at my current company?
