First, buy a big glass jar. Fill it with air from home. Then carry it with you to hotel. Tell TSA that its so big because you need to get your grandmothers ashes back. Open this jar in your hotel room. Finally, take a deep breath. Presto, feel at home!
When I had 1 week plus assignments I'd get an electric wok and same basic stuff like towels, etc. My partner and I would still watch shows together - synch up amazon feeds, etc.
Buy the Westin heavenly bed for your home
I like PWC1 recommendation. Also, bring some small item with you from home. I bring a travel size candle that I love.
Unpack your clothes, set up the bathroom / room with all your morning routine items / to make getting ready similar to how it would be if you are at home. I look for hotels that accommodate to things I need, like certain mattresses, foam/hypoallergenic pillows, good sheets, a couch / seating area other than a desk so you aren’t on the bed work & sleeping, get drinks / snacks you regularly eat to have access to them....basically what works best for you but I find these help me, but it’s still a state of mind and you have to prep yourself for it, especially if you are traveling every week. Good luck
