I’m a financial systems developer. Only 2.5 years experience and already becoming very valuable and knowledgeable. You’d need to learn coding skills but it’s definitely a good career path if you think you’d enjoy building financial models

Not sure if you’re specifically interested in learning a different skillset or just the overall tech culture, but if you have a finance background you can easily join a tech company’s corporate FP&A team. I have 5 YOE in finance and work for a tech startup doing strategic finance. So my core job function is still finance but the company itself is tech and comes with all the industry benefits

I’m looking for a similar switch, I have some coding knowledge and I’m considering going full software developer and trying to leverage my recent grad (with a minor in comp sci) to get an entry level position. There’s a lot of great resources online like leetcode that helps you get ready for technical interviews and to learn coding if you want to go all in
Product owner seems like a path I have seen a couple people take in similar situation.
I’ve found that a lot of my finance background aligns with that of a data analyst so that’s where I’ve started working to build skills on data camp, eventually I’d like to push a litter further to get to data scientist
