Any recommended readings or courses for a business background to become more technical (high level understanding of how software works / is developed). My background has largely been business/management focused, with a focus on the software/tech space.

The perfectionist post made me think this is a good place to ask: how do you deal with a manager or team lead who's micromanaging or refusing to delegate? I like my team lead but everything down to the smallest detail has to be checked and rechecked by him and it slows down EVERYONE else. Our team is doing really good work, it's just taking longer than it should and it's frustrating to feel like he doesn't trust our skills at all.

Heard a lot about 100k incomes by 25 here. Is it better to attempt negotiating a genuine salary/benefit increase during this upcoming performance review or is it better to keep it to myself, smile for whatever raise they announce for me and apply to new roles to secure the pay raise? It feels like being honest with management might end my employment early or tip them off to the backup actions. It also feels like they potentially would be open to buying my loyalty. Thoughts?
