Yeah you're right. It cuts after two lines instead of expanding.

This is looking great!

135k base and I would like to buy a Porsche. I have 20k in student loans and no other debt. Go for it? I'm not even into cars but every time I’m dashing through the Target parking lot and see one, it’s like love at first sight😍. That is my only justification 😂

Can someone explain this sense of entitlement by the younger generation? When I hear the younger gen complaining that they aren't getting paid enough when they start at 70k which is more than some experienced hires.....I just don't understand.

Wow. This morning on a quarterly regional all hands an Accenture Managing Director (and leader) had the group stop for a full minute for thoughts and prayers for the president in the first lady in the wake of their coronavirus diagnosis. Not sharing my feelings... Just leaving this there.

What won't you tell me that I should know? Keep in mind I'm one of the only partners on here who actually cares to ask a question like this, so appreciate keeping constructive / not lighting me up!

Please advise: Sent an email to a partner explaining that I want to take a step back in an initiative because project has been long hours, and I wanted to focus my energy on something else I’m more interested in, and offered to help the next person to transition. Got a reply saying I’d advise to say no up front rather than making commitments I cannot keep. I’m so upset that I cried. WLB has been hard and it was not easy making this decision. What do I reply? Anytime I ask a junior person on my team to do something or give her a recommendation, the reply is always something along the lines of “yeah, I know” “yeah, that was the plan anyway”, or “I was already thinking that”. How do I coach this individual to avoid these type of replies? It just comes off as passive aggressive.

Why don't more (white collar) Americans take breaks in-between jobs? Like a month or two summer break. Is this mindset that you need to work all the time a vestige from back when people would work at the same company for 40 years until they die?

Do you care about the undergraduate / MBA program that your peers went to?

I got box braids and the client told the partner in my team that I need to remove them it isn't professional & he doesn't like it. Partner is now asking me to take them off. Just got them & it was exp

Can you be fired from posting sexy pictures on social media? By sexy I meant swimsuits etc.

Can we all agree that Australia has kind of fallen off the deep end over covid? It’s a police state right now.

Just curious, what’s everyone’s salary progression been like since you’ve started working?
