Whew this group is a relief to find. No one at my job knows I have ADHD, and I only have one other friend with it. I manage a team of people and the stress of checking, double checking, and triple-checking everything to make sure I'm not forgetting anything or behind on anything is insane. 5 month ago I joined Ceridian IT as remote. Due to nature of work, I have very little to no involvement with other parts of my team. I like what I do, pay is ok, manager is not so involved. - our inability to hire an external CMO, likely due to culture problems
- 2x’ing headcount during the pandemic, but bungling remote onboarding - 60% unfavorable Stripesat results from new joiners

Is there anything worse than a “ Director” that isn’t technical? One job ago had a director get assigned to oversee my team. We were a M365 team. Director didn’t know anything about the products and tried to implement agile to run day to day. I still have nightmares about it. I left 60k rsus just to run away from that company. Best move I’ve ever made, but damn. Feels good to vent about it.
