I love the company I work at but they are forcing everyone to return to office after two years working fully remote and the most successful eight quarters the company has had in years. People are leaving left and right forcing me and other team members to pick up the slack. For many reasons I do not want to return to office and they are standing firm on their policy. Can an ADA make the jump to big law or a boutique litigation firm? I’m a NYC ADA (DANY/KCDA) from a Tier 2 law school (top 45% only) and top 10 undergrad. Can experience make up for mediocre grades?

Any legal recruiters able to help me with expected hourly rate compared to salary? The company that let me go last month offered to have me return under contract even though the severance is still in effect. I had full benefits (approx. 25-30%) + bonus (~20%). Thinking of starting at 2X but willing to accept no less than 1.5X, assuming no changes to severance....
