I think it might be worth having your resume rewritten/reviewed? Based on your background it should be a good fit, but pivoting does mean having to apply to like a million places to get in somewhere good. Best of luck!
Do you have anyone in your network at a company that aligns with your goals? Easiest way into presales is referral or internal move. Your background would definitely benefit my company and others I’ve worked for. You need a tech company that considers pharma and life sciences a critical industry, which many do. Most of the least seniors SEs I mentor are on job two or three out of college, <5 YOE in anything, and they often learn the SE career charter in an SMB type segment. It’s simply easiest to make it into a recruiter screen through referral.
PreSales/Sales/ technical consulting in Life Sciences can be difficult without a large amount of technical experience. But as another user mentioned, referrals are highly valued.
As a sales person for a life science biotech company, happy to discuss more.
It shouldn't be too difficult with your background. Have you had your resume reviewed by a professional to make sure your skillsets translate well?
Getting reviewed by a professional is a great idea thank you for suggesting!

Thank you!
honestly, that doesn't sound like a difficult job to move into with your current background. Have you applied anywhere yet?
Yeah I think you definitely would benefit that bridge. You would be very desirable to those companies - use that niche!
