McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Hiiii! I’ve been at my job for a year and a couple of months now & I’ve gotten rather bored because the work is repetitive, not challenging, and hasn’t really allowed me to learn or grow as much as I would’ve liked to. Given how I’m still paying a ton of money for my postgrad in Business Comms (that I haven’t really gotten the chance to use), I’ve been thinking of entering the world of consulting. Any word of advice? PwC McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group KPMG

Many who repatriate are lured by a vibrant startup scene in India that is drawing unprecedented capital from venture and private equity firms and is buoyed by an effervescent market for stocks. But they are also disenchanted with what they perceive as America’s bleak and hopeless immigration landscape, where the wait times for green cards are tortuously long, and the limits on launching startups for newcomers are highly restrictive.

Trainers are super pricey. If you have $1k, you are looking at like 10 workouts. That’s not going to move the needle.
Seriously don’t be embarrassed to go to the gym. Literally no one there knows you. Maybe just force it upon yourself for 3 weeks and get over that first hump. I know easier said than done…
Why not just go back to orange theory or F45?
I’ve been using an app called Future and have been really enjoying it. You have a coach who programs all of your workouts and you can work with them on the type of workouts you want to do and how often. You let them know what equipment you have access to and they will plan accordingly so you can go to any gym or do it from home. I still find it has the accountability aspect I always valued from signing up for classes. It’s not cheap but they offer new member deals or I can send you a free month.
I am a personal trainer on the side . Happy to have an intro call with you to discuss goals , expectations, what I can offer , etc. The industry is full of people who don’t have the practical knowledge, be careful in who you pick . Let me know if you are interested.
Use and app called Street Parking. $20 per month for free daily workouts based off some pretty basic gym equipment. They also have options for scaled versions for the workouts and they are typically no longer than 30mins.
Class pass has one on one training sessions that you can book
My CrossFit gym is $220/mo. Classes are rarely more than 5 peeps, so it’s almost like personal training without the $100/session they charge for individual instruction. It’s right by the Rosslyn office too, so it’s a good after work activity.
