Have yall ever done projects outside of your service line or industry? I'm wondering if it's beneficial for me to do something like that in the long term. My area is Pharma but I've been presented with another opportunity outside of my service line in Public Sector. It sounds like I would get great skills out of the project, as it involves strategic planning and that is not an area I have experience in.
Our temp who has about as much experience as me but is definitely not as good at getting things done told me that he makes $115k while I’m just making 95k. I spend so much time teaching and training him. Almost as much time as I spend doing my own work. Been at the company for a year. Learned so much since I started and invested lots of my own money into more tech training that the co refused to pay. Is it realistic to get up to 115k soon or should I find another job?
Yup pretty much

Good morning everyone,
I just joined the site at the suggestion of a friend. I am Administrative Coordinator with 23 years of experience looking to relocate to Georgia. I am looking for office manager positions down there, but willing to start with another Admin. Coor position. The pay scale is very different from NYC which was to be expected. I was contacted about an Admin position but the cap was $10K less than I’m currently making. What would be a realistic number to settle on?

I am a registered respiratory therapist of just about 20 years and now I work as a clinical liaison for a LTACH. I was a RT charge/team lead while still on the floor but never had any experience with financial management. That concerns me. I don’t know how best to transition into operations management without having to take a severe pay cut. Any suggestions?
