Is there a place on ebenefits or VA.gov where I can find my glasses prescription?

I had an exam recently and the VA gave me a pair but I'd like to get another. I'm able to find the rx #s and the appointment notes in my health summary but the store won't accept that. Didn't find it in prescriptions as that's all medication.

Appreciate any point in the right direction.

Hello,

I am a 3rd year insurance defense attorney with product and premise liability experience. Due to long-COVID, I am likely to lose my job.

The plan is to find a government position that would involve more substantive litigation and trial work, then leverage that into the private sector a few years down the line.

Any advice would be appreciated regarding networking, where to start, etc. Thank you.

wfh is good but need to plan to improve our yields on savings if need help happy to assist cum mentor

My husbands mom lives with us and we usually get along fine, but today I am over it. WFH means being with her 24/7 and after the holiday's I am just done. I wish it was just the 2 of us again. Can I force his sister to take her? I want my house back, but I also don't want to be the crabby wife.

Hi everyone! I was laid off by a top Atlanta IT recruiting firm yesterday. Lots of moving parts going on there, so I am somewhere grateful. I have been a recruiter for 6 months now and have a history of sales driven and customer facing engagement roles. Looking for new opportunities in recruitment. Ideally something that is 100% remote or hybrid to Atlanta. Any leads here? Anything could help.

I have worked for a authorized retailer for a large telecommunication company for 9 years. I have been the only HR/Recruiter for the company for 3 years. I'm finding it difficult to find a new job that pays what I'm currently at 68K with only having 3 years experience. I'm also trying to get out of this industry. What are the best industries to be a recruiter for/ what I should try focusing on. I've tried healthcare and I haven't had much luck.

Thanks!

Guys, I hope you all are doing well.

I am pretty desperate working for a brand like Google, Meta, Amazon. I do have worked as business analyst and project manager in life insurance domain but I think such exposure is meaningless for these brands. What certification do i need to pursue to make myself eligible?
I am not so good in technical to help teams technical issues rather I can definitely add value in integration or logic building or giving functional clarifications

Thanks in advance !!

Currently an M interviewing for an SM industry role. Pay would be roughly the same as my current salary. Recruiter was vague on total comp but briefly touched benefits including 10k-25k for degree programs per year, roughly 18% annual bonus, & an unknown amount of RSUs.

What left a sour impression was that the recruiter couldn’t respond to a “TC” number, scheduled a connect in <24 hours, called me 5 minutes late for a 30 minute call & put me on hold for a personal call 🙄. 🚩🚩or HR being HR?

I am a California teacher looking to relocate. My son is pushing for Boerne. I have spent most of my life in small private Christian schools and loved it! When I moved to public school the large class sizes and trauma/sped students filling my classroom burned me out. I moved to homeschool this year (with my same district) and love it!!! I am curious about teaching in Texas. Class sizes, special ed, private school, etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I’m confused. I had sex last night after a veryyy long time, and it hurt unsurprisingly. The guy was careful to go slow and asked at first if it hurt and I told him it did.But then, it got worse for me, and I was starting to sit up to pull away. But he asked me not to pull away because he was so close. I was dumbfounded and didn’t move. I thought it was understood it was still painful for me, but am I in the wrong here? I probably should have verbalized it again, feeling a bit confused.

Warning: re sexual harassment by supervising attorney

About two months ago, my supervising attorney sexually harassed me. We were in his office, with the door closed, discussing our cases and he asked me if he could “get an ass shot.” I said no, tried to change the topic multiple times, and tried to leave. He then said if I wanted to leave, I had to turn around, bend over, and move my cardigan to the side (which was covering my backside) so he could “get [his] ass shot.”

Just a question for those here. What does anyone see as a job outlook for a pharmacy technician that has 15 years of experience and is studying for the CPhT? I would like to return to 100% remote work and, understandably, most job postings that are about my caliber are requiring the cert. I am thinking of possibly pivoting into an IT job that would be fully remote later on down the road, but I’m interested in seeing what is possible now (and an average pay) for someone with my experience.
