Has anyone needed to be on blood thinners during their treatment? Found out I have Factor V Leiden from the genetic testing/bloodwork I did and the clinic referred me to a hematologist. He said I would need to use heparin throughout the process and for a month after egg retrieval while the estrogen levels come down. Just wondering how common that is & any thoughts/advice appreciated! (Also wondering if the heparin costs would be covered by insurance if the rest is out of pocket)

I am now looking into getting my HR Certification, but am stuck in between the PHR-CA or the SHRM-CP. Does anyone have any recommendations they can give me?

We're hiring a VP of IT in WA eff 8/1 as we need time to set up as an employer in WA. In the meantime, we are hiring members of his team and would like him to be part of the interview process. How would you compensate him for his time? Could we make him an independent contractor? Creative thoughts are appreciated.

I work for a CPA firm, 45-50 employees, and we're looking at expanding our benefits package. Right now, we only offer 2 or 3 weeks vacation, 1 week paid sick time, healthcare, 401(k) with profit sharing, and Life/Long-term disability coverage. No dental, no parental leave, no ST disability, no EAP etc.

Now I got married and moved to UK , plus we have got a baby in 2019 so now I am looking for a job in UK having 3 years of career break. Although, I am getting CIPD lvl 7 diploma this year. Hi Everyone, I have been an HR Generalist for close to 7 years. I had good managers and poor managers in between. My VP once told me not to pursue my MBA because she would teach me everything she knew. She never did. I am currently going for my SHRM SCP.
