Stylistically, these do not do anything for me and just scream “mall watch”. You can get a lot more watch for 400-500 USD. Check out the Hamilton Khaki Field Watch.

Edit: Just went down the rabbit hole. This company is not manufacturing in Switzerland. I checked their tax registration and they have <5 employees in Lucern, which means they are probably just a mailbox for a (PRC?) producer trying to push products to unsuspecting customers. Also the German on the website is 100% Google Translate.

It’s a neat watch that steals from some other brands, and it’ll be blah and in a drawer in three months. If you’re just buying to see if you’d like a world timer, then it might be worth the couple hundred bucks. I’d probably just pass though.

Hi folks, I resigned from my previous company and due to health reasons and other family emergencies I have 20 Loss Of Pay Days mentioned in the last month Payslip. My LWD was on 1st Nov. I am planning to join the next company by the end of Nov. Is the gap of close to 1 month or LOP days in the payslip going to create a problem. Please suggest.

Input appreciated! As a second year associate, I have a reasonable 1800 billable requirement and make $70k, but I don’t feel aligned with the firm. I want more WLB and don’t care about making partner. I am considering pivoting to a contracts analyst position (glorified doc review) because it’s 100% remote, same pay, has a 40 hour cap (rather than my current minimum!), flexible hours, and no billables or stress. Would this be a bad idea for my career?

Fell in love with this Sky-Dweller today at the AD. Never thought the gold and black rubber strap would do it for me. Is it normal an AD has this one in inventory? Thought Sky-Dwellers we're in very high demand. Anyway went there to put my name on the list for a sub no-date so didn't get the Sky-Dweller.
